Partially applied functions?

In the following example,



Now, when I call this function,



Is the fileEndMatch is used as a partially applied function? How would the underscores be filled? How would Scala know which value to put in the underscore? There are two of them in the case above!

Did a rm -R / to find out that I lost my entire Linux installation!
