Marcus,
Just wondering if you've ever tried using Kanban outside of work projects? I know there's a book on Personal Kanban, but I'd like your opinion on the idea.

Thanks,
Burk

Hi,

(sorry about the delay - were attending a rehearsal).

I've read a lot about it and tried it somewhat for personal use.

I think there's great power in the kanban principles that can be applied on the personal level. The book is great but you can read up on it quite a lot online as well: http://www.personalkanban.com/
Jim Benson is a good friend of me and Joakim and he has a lot of great content on the topic.

Hope this helps

I guess I need to give it another shot. I had actually tried to create a personal kanban about nine months ago, but gave up because I was going nuts trying to keep it up to date. Maybe after I practice with one at work for a while to get a better handle on it.

Then again, it may be because I sometimes try to do too many things at the same time and the board was just helping me visualize it. Uh oh...

Anyway, thanks for the insight,
Burk
