In J2EE, meaning of coarse-grained and fine-grained ?

In J2EE, what meaning of coarse-grained and fine-grained ? please give me some examples.

Those terms are usually used in the context of calling EJBs. "Fine grained" is when you make a lot of session bean calls. For example getA(), getB(), getC(). "Coarse grained" is when you make less EJB calls. For example, getAllFields().
