So what's up with the guy on the cover? Head down, hunched over... He does not look happy with what he's doing.

Then again, he may be looking down because he's intent on finding a good place to plant the sapling he's carrying. Sort of a metaphor for the authors who are looking for fertile ground for their ideas... Yeah, that's the ticket. That must be it... mustn't it?

Or maybe it's just late and I'm not getting enough sleep...

Hi,

thank you for that question; we're not that happy with that guy either. He might be exchanged...

But here's my take on him; he needs help to improve his process. The way he worked has broken him. And his back. So he needs kanban. On the last page he will have his spring back into his step.

Or something.

The last word is not said about his being.

That sounds good too. I think you'd need to do some Photoshopping though. As I understand it, the people on the covers are from a really old book showing the clothing and costumes from different countries,
