Hi everyone,

Directly from this API:

When a pathname string is converted into an abstract pathname, the names within it may be separated by the default name-separator character or by any other name-separator character that is supported by the underlying system.


It's not very clear to me the difference between a pathname string and an abstract pathname.. till now what I knew was that the way to create an abstract file path was the following:


In the above case, is it a pathname string of an abstract pathname? And when does the conversion happens?
