redirecting to a page in WEB-INF folder

Hi,

I would like to redirect from a page in webapp/index.xhtml to a page in WEB-INF/user.xhtml How can I do that in jsf ?

You cannot redirect to anything in WEB-INF. WEB-INF is defined by the J2EE standard as an "invisible" directory for URL purposes. Redirects work on URLs, so there's no accessability.

You can reference a resource in WEB-INF, however. I keep my page tile templates under WEB-INF/layouts, since they are invoked via VTL ui:component tags, which use resource paths instead of URL paths.


Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
