I'm new to groovy on grails. To develope groovy on grails application i'm using JDK(1.7),Eclipse Juno, and installed GGTS plugin from Market place in eclipse. Groovy is working fine. I have done some example. While creating garils application(at the time of creating domain class) i'm getting UNRESOLVED DEPENDENCIES error.
When i check grails plugin manager, it is empty. I have configure grails zip file which is down loaded from http://grails.org/download
Do you have direct access to the internet? It looks like the Grails application is trying to download additional jar files and having trouble finding them. You might need to set a proxy if that's the issue.
how to set proxy in grails?
And i have tried to download jar file which is in "http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/tomcat/embed/tomcat-embed-logging-log4j/7.0.42/tomcat-embed-logging-log4j-7.0.42.jar ". But this location itself not finding. Hence i have downloaded all jar which are not founded then added to lid folder but still it is giving same problem.

You shouldn't have to manually download anything. When you first start a Grails application, though, it downloads all the required dependencies. It looks like that process is failing, which is why I wondered if it is unable to access the repositories directly.
This has nothing to do with setting a proxy in Grails itself, but rather whether or not Grails has direct access to the Internet.
That said, there is a "set-proxy" command inside of Grails to assign one if you need it.

Problem is resolved by setting proxy.
Thanks for giving valueble input to resolve this problem.
