Synchronizer classes

I'm using the Ganesh and Sharma book to prepare for the OCP JP7 exam. A sizeable part of the Concurrency chapter is devoted to the synchronizer classes: Semaphore, Phaser, CountDownLatch, Exchanger and CyclicBarrier

I'm also using the Enthuware software to test what I've learned. I've done a couple of tests in the concurrency section, but haven't yet come across any questions on these classes. My question is, therefore, will questions on these classes come up in the exam?

You are quite right Frank. I felt the same when I was preparing for the exam. The problem is that these topics are not given in exam topic list explicitly; but, oracle says we should know about java.util.concurrent package and its classes. So, IMHO if you have time just go through them; it is better to be on safer side.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
