Right now, @coderanch basically tweets about book promos. And every once in a blue moon about something else. If we were to tweet more, what else would you like to see?

The best of MD. Funny jokes, cartoons, anecdotes. Overall anything which will bring a smile to the face.

From @pushkarc20 on twitter:
@coderanch how about tweeting the "hot topics" once a week, some fun competition and fun giveaways once a month or so...

I had the same thing in mind. Would be awesome.

I remember one thread in which ranchers came up with creative stuff on
how to determine the length of a String without using length
method and without using iteration. Posts such as that post would
be perfect candidates

Oh yea, TGIF challenges would be good too. We could have them
posted here as well. Quite a few times I thought of suggesting this,
but then didn't. We frequently did this at my workplace and it was fun.
Many a times we'd just come up with random stuff like the person who
came up with the fun idea creates an ordered list of the team members. The first
person starts writing a story, the next one continues the same story and so on.
We had no idea that our seniors were really very creative guys. And fridays used to be fun.

Sorry about the poor formatting. Posted that via me cell phone editor. My scroll options are not
good.
Hence the poor formatting.

By the way, the new like option in the mobile view is really cool.
I remember you didnt have it earlier.

Chan,
I like the Friday fun activity idea and gave it a shot.

And yes, likes in the mobile view were introduced last weekend.

Depending on how frequently you want to or can tweet :
* Hot topic or most informative post (if it can be quantified)
* A tip or gotcha
* A Programming question
* Book review
* Newsletter updates?
* Links to tutorials or articles
* optional and occasional advertising of one of apps/ tools/ certification software that fellow rancher might have written.
* Best of MD as already suggested.
* Site updates?

Personally, I will prefer any subset of these.

How about posting a riddle once in a while?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
