Hi,

If a database is installed on a server with IP as A.B.C.D Will the database hostname be A.B.C.D ?

I am trying to access the database installed on different server with A.B.C.D

Please help!!
Thanks,

which database you are referring?

While installation we can specify the database Host name. If Database server exists in same domain then you can access it using IP there should not be any issue.
