Does applet have permission to read information of user's graphic card ?

http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/security.html , in this link, Sandbox Applet is unsigned Applet ? if yes, I didn't see applet can access the hardware information.

Thanks

Unsigned applets, of course, don't have the right to access anything on the user's computer. However if you sign the applet it can do anything that Java code can do.

So then if Java can access that information, a signed applet can do that too.
