Advice on making decision

After completing MCA with SCJP certification , I worked for 9 months in a small company on Struts and hibernate. Then I joined other company and working on Application packaging since 1 year. Few months back this project was over, and I have tried atmost possible internally to get an opportunity to work on Java Projects. But the same didn't happened. So meanwhile I started to learn spring framework and Webservices on my own. Is it possible for me to make my career in Java again? Does any organisation will offer a job for me on java projects after such a career path?

Please suggest and guide me on what should be my approach?

Thanks in advance.

You will have many jobs with many technologies over the course of your career. Making the question whether your next job can be Java based. And of course you can go back to programming. Just show you've done something lately. Like make an app on the side you can talk about to show your interest.

One red flag on your resume is the frequently changing of jobs. You have a good reason for the "why are you leaving" question though.

Also, just curious - what is application packaging? Is that Ant/Maven?
