Hi All,

I attempted to write a small sessionbean 3.0 example using JBOSS 5.0. I have my components designed as below

and deployed the project to JBoss 5.0 and I see the below statements in the server logs

As you see the enterprise beans bound to JNDI

Then I tried to call the enterprise using a stand alone client running in a separate JVM on a local machine

I tried to use

LearnEJB30Ear/CalculatorBean/remote
CalculatorBean/remote
calculator

as JNDI lookup strings, but none worked

I get the below error

Am I doing anything wrong here ?

Regards

Hi,

I think you're using the same (flawed) tutorial as the guy in the following link:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3911856/javax-naming-namenotfoundexception

check the solution given there and fix your ejb-jar.xml and jboss.xml files, and it will probably deploy without incident.
