JMX Notification Broadcaster, broadcast the message. But JMX Notification Listener is not Listening. Is there a way to persist the message/retry the message similar to JMS/broker ?

You could register a listener for all messages you're interested in that persist them in some way. It could expose (via JMX , of course :-) ) an action that causes it to send all buffered notifications. So it would be a listener, a broadcaster, and also expose an MBean.

JMX Notification Broadcaster and JMX Notification Listener follows Observer pattern. Is it correct ?

Ulf, I guess, it follows Event Driven Architecture instead of Observer Pattern.
