Hi friends, i'am Cardy and new to this forum. I would like to know about the current system of socket programming works (Client PC and server PC transfer the packet on the network) and also how can i implement the proposed system of socket programming using encryption and decryption of data when client and server transfer packet back and forth on the network. I will really appreciate for your support

Both socket communication and encryption are sizable subjects that can't be explained in a forum post. Start reading at http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/networking/sockets/index.html about sockets and http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/SecurityFaq#encryption for JCE, the Java API for encryption. Also note that Java provides encrypted sockets in the shape of the javax.net.ssl.SSLSocket class, but I'm guessing that you're supposed to implement the encryption yourself instead of using prefabricated classes, so both JCE and SSLSocket may be out of bounds.
