i know it is just me. i got this new computer with windows 8. that is very confusing by itself. they changed things a lot. but also the oracle site has changed. i am unsure which download i want. i want the JDK and EE in case i need it, but what is web profile? do i want that one?

i read a bit about it. i decided to get the whole thing instead of the web profile. most likely i wont need much of it but...

For anyone else reading this who hasn't read up on it yet: Web profile is a smaller version of JEE that doesn't include things like EJBs.

you are right. i learned the web profile version leave out some stuff. stuff i probably won't need, but i am just gonna get it all(i probably don't need EE at all but i would rather have it all. if i can i have been having problems downloading it

i am going to try to download it again
