How hard it is to learn mobile development

now I am a Java Dev with good exp, j2ee, core java, web development....how hard it is to learn Android development? what is the future of mobile apps? Do I need to learn Android SDK?

Yes, the Android SDK is generally what you would use to create Android apps. Eclipse and IntelliJ have good Android support as well (which is based on the SDK).

I'm not sure what answer anyone could give to "what is the future of mobile apps?", except maybe: It is bright, and while it's getting crowded, there is still room for growth.
