Java 7 (or 8) book - K & B

Hi

I've seen this question posed a few times but (at least not in the threads I read) I have yet to see an answer.

Can someone confirm/deny/pontificate on when the Java 7 (or as suggested in a few threads), the Java 8 certification book from Kathy Sierra/Burt Bates will break cover? I saw the earlier posts from Burt Bates stating there was a lot of reworking to do, but as yet no official info has been released to explain what the hold up is...

The silence is deafening.

Thanks

I suspect Bert is too busy working on the book to see this post!

Hi Jeanne

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate that Bert is busy - I (and I suspect many others) was hoping there might be some clarity on the current situation. I've seen a few people who wanted to purchase the much anticipated study guide for version 7, forced to change tack because the Amazon release date for the book has kept changing. I don't know what the issue is but it would be pleasant to have an update.

Thanks
