I have been studying for the exam and I have read K&B6 but now I have started OCA7 Preparation by Mala Gupta and I find this book better as it is more precise and no overwhelming. I would say you should read K&B6 at least once(it's in too much depth) and then hop on to the other book I mentioned. Since I haven't given the exam myself either so I can't tell you much better.
