I cleared OCPJP 6 with 80% marks. Now i want to do OCPJWCD. I got the head first servlets and jsp book , but i find the style too casual as compared to the SCJP guide i used . Should i start with the head first book or should i learn the basics of servlets and jsp and then pick up this book. I am absolutely new to J2EE.

The Head First Servlet & JSP book is a good start. Do you know which version of exam you want to take? The HF book is more towards v5. Do check out the OCPWCD links page.

then the HF book should be good for you. As you go along/study, make sample web apps to get hands on.

good luck
