Hi,

I want to install Hadoop on my Computer (single node), but when I try to format my namenode, this message appears:
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.NameNode

Does anyone knows the reason for this ?

which version of hadoop you are trying to install? Could you please get back to me with the screenshot of the error message and your OS platform details?
