Is there any difference between Destination and Connection Factory in JMS API ?

HI,

I am learning JMS and came across these two in Administrative Objects.
Could not find a difference between the two.

A connection factory is just that - a factory for creating connections. A destination is something you send things (messages) to. I can't even see how they are remotely similar. It's like comparing apples with cats.
