failed to send message to queue in activemq

I'm storing my queues like so:


lets say I have queues "queue1" and "queue2", this is what I was trying to do:



This one didn't work, meaning, the message ID was generated just fine, no errors generated, but the message didn't appear in queue2.

While this one works:

The message with that mesage ID was successfully removed (gone from) the queue.
Why couldn't I send the message?

Does the message get sent if you use the JMX Console?
Also, why use JMX to send the messages? Why not send using a MessageProducer?
