Problems with DispatchAction

I'm doing some work with Struts and have decided to use dispatch action to minimize some of my code. I was able to get it to work, but now I'm in the stage of refining the code. I have one action, but I'm using different paths depending on what section of the webapp I'm on. However struts keeps appending to the path.

When I move from the Home Page to the edit page loyalty/ It's fine, but when I try to return to the home Page the url becomes /loyalty/loyalty, which doesn't exist.
Furthermore I'm trying to accomplish this, because I would like to use the struts validator framework and I'm assuming that I need to separate the paths so I can test the values at the appropriate pages.
Any help would be welcomed.
