Netbeans Validation

Hello! I am creating a program in Netbeans which requires validation of email and password. What I mean is when jButton is clicked it will check if jTextField equals to another jTextField. For example the first one is ENTER PASSWORD and the second one RE-ENTER PASSWORD. If the re-entered password does not much I want to change to colour of text to red and display information "not valid", whereas if it matches, change text to green and display information "Email Valid". I am using GUI. Thank you for any suggestion.
