Hi
One of the cert objectives in Mikalai Zaikin cert guide is

1.1.6. Configure deployment descriptors (web.xml, webservices.xml) for URL patterns, HTTP security, container authorization, caller authentication, and message protection. JAX-WS runtime may also be configured to perform message layer authentication and protection.

I want to know what is webservices.xml, where is it stored, what is its contents, what purpose does it solve in Web Service ?

thanks

Knowledge of the webservices.xml was needed for the WSD-5 exam but is not needed for the WSD-6 exam.

You can read everything about the deployment descriptor in JSR-109 (Web Services for Java EE)

Frits
