Hi All
I was using Log4j logging tool in my project which is running in WebLogic Server. It worked fine in my dev region . But Iam facing a problem in My UAT region where we are using Weblogic clustering . We have 2 instance of managed server and an admin server . The problem is the Logging statements are not appended in the file in the cluster environment. We are using File Appender. Could any one of you please give an idea of how do I overcome this problem ?

Thanks in Advance .

As long as you have logging enabled in a java application, the logging should work if it is configured correctly. I assume each of your managed servers are running a copy of your java application? If each managed server has a JVM running and the file appender is configured to write to a local file, it should work. Can you please add some more detail?

Thanks !

I have tried using the FileAppender as well as the ConsoleAppender. It works fine in the dev (non-clustered environment). So, i assume there is no problem in the configuration.

But in the weblogic cluster environment(yes, the application is running in both managed server locations), the log is not getting created.
