A simple question:

Where do I specify where to log to a log file?

In the absence of more information I'm going to say: "in your log4j.properties file, possibly in a line starting with log4j.appender.File.File=".

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
