I booked my exam via Pearson VUE.

I arrived 30 mins early. The office is closed. On their website it says saturday they are closed.

I called pearson vue but they are not picking up the phone.

Was I meant to arrange it with the college? As well or is it enough to make a booking through pearson?

Do I lose all my money? What happens now? Im on cctv so they know I am early. There is still 10 mins before the exam starts.

You should only have to make the booking through Pearson. I've never called the exam center directly for an exam. (Except one time when we had to reschedule it due to the computer not working on their end and they asked me to call back so that wouldn't happen again.)

Double check the address to make sure you are in the right place. You might even take a picture of the closed office to show you were there. Then complain to PearsonVUE on Monday during business hours. They should have the ability to do a "free re-take" since Prometric does and they are competitors. (Here's what happened to me for a different exam.)

I did the exam and passed!

I'll put a more detailed response once I get home.

Thanks for the help Jeanne and anyone else that helped me these past 2 months!

Okay, everything went well in the end.

My exam was scheduled for 1pm, I arrived at 12:30 pm. The office was empty. I called Pearson VUE and no one was picking up the phone. Then I began this topic in an urgent plea for help.

I waited until 1:05 and just as I was leaving, the personnel was coming into the office. They apologized, at first I was furious but then I cut them some slack because they said they just opened up their office a few days ago.

They had to start up their systems, whilst that was happening they treated me to a coffee in the local coffee shop.

I took the exam 40 mins later. The actual exam room was good. Air con and heating, spacious, good desk and chair.

As some of you know the pass rate was lowered by Oracle to 63%. I passed with 78%.

Good to know that things worked eventually. Good luck with the OCPJP preparations.
