What is the Difference Between Standard Time say and DayLight Saving Time .

Lets take Pacific Time Zone

The Pacific Time Zone observes standard time by subtracting eight hours from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC−8). So PST is -08:00

During daylight saving time, its time offset is UTC−7. while PDT is -07:00 .
