Hi all,

I am wondering if someone can guide me to a tutorial or instructions on how I can configure an applet to get access to local resources such as file system, browser, etc.

I appreciate any help,
Payam

Have you read the Java tutorial on applet security: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/security.html

There's also the Ranch's wiki page on that topic: http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/HowCanAnAppletReadFilesOnTheLocalFileSystem

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
