As i am maintaining one application, found that gif file has been converted to .frag file, that frag file has been included to send an image through fax. I have got a task to change the image. so for that i have to convert the gif file to frag. please any one help me on this.

filext.com also doesn't seem to recognize it...

Maybe this will be useful somehow.

Yeah, we'd need to know what you mean by "frag" file format.

It might be an OpenGL Fragment Shader, you think? See http://www.opengl.org/wiki/Fragment_Shader. To see, you could get a validator (like glslang: http://www.khronos.org/opengles/sdk/tools/Reference-Compiler/) and see if a file produced by your other application is really a (valid) Fragment Shader, and if it is, work with OpenGL docs to see if you can reproduce one in Java.

How did you confirm that if you don't know what a *.frag file is?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
