This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
We are looking for an Android programmer who can build a relatively simple application. We'll provide you with a full specifications document if we decide that you may be a good fit for our needs. At a very high level the solution will consist of two components. A web site that provides a web service interface to allow for retrieving and updating data and an Android tablet that runs an application that interfaces with the web site using web services. We'll be building the web site application and the web services interface internally so we're just looking for an Android application developer who can handle the Android side. We primarily create web sites and web applications so you'll be working with a team that understands the software development process and you'll be given a full specifications to make your work as easy as possible. We'll also provide the graphics for the project.
If you are an Android programmer and are interested in working with us then please provide your resume and some examples of your work. Please also tell us your location, hourly rate and your availability for taking on a small project.
