Hi,

I have to automate the deployment process for websphere which can be done through Ant and wsadmin scripts both.
But i am not so certain about "Which approach is the best approach among these two"?
Could somebody help me with this?

Usually Ant drives wsadmin commands. Its not which one, you use both.

You can run wsadmin commands through the command line too, right?

Hi,

It depends on how complex is your deployment process... i usually simply use wsadmin -f <file> where <file> is a script containing
deployment instructions.
By the way I never studied in depth WAS Scripting Language, I simply copied and pasted istructions you can get from Admin Console
in the file forementioned.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
