Here are my Enthuware scores:

Test 1: 62% Failed. 12/10/2013
Test 2: 59% Failed. 12/18/2013
Test 3: 73% Failed. 01/10/2014
Test 4: 73% Passed. 01/22/2014
Test 5: 66% Passed. 02/13/2014
Test 6: 87% Passed. 02/19/2014

I included dates because of the change in Oracle's pass requirements from 77% to 63%.

I took the OCAJP 7 test this morning and scored 93%! Woo hoo!

Overall, I feel the test was equally as difficult as Enthuware. There were some topics and tidbits that never came up on Enthuware exams. It took me the full 2.5 hours to complete.

I forgot to mention that I tend to become bored and indifferent when taking the Enthuware exams. Not a knock on the company, as they're astounding, more a knock on my impatience.

What I'm trying to say is, I didn't put as much effort and focus into the Enthuware exams as I did the real thing. So take my Enthuware scores with a grain of salt. Don't let it be an indicator of the exams' difficulty.

Paul,

Two topics came up: underscores in literals, and the binary prefix "0b".

This is legal in Java 7:

I didn't encounter any Enthuware question that consisted of underscores or binary prefixes.

That's correct. Oracle has mentioned these topics in their upgrade exam ( 1Z0-805 ) and not in OCAJP. We do have several questions that cover these topics in our question bank for the upgrade exam. If you got questions on these in the OCAJP 7 exam then that is surprising (or not, they have a habit of adding questions on topics not mentioned in the objectives ) but we have now added them in this question bank as well.

thank you for your feedback!
