Dear all

I saw some news letters that java8 is going to release on 18th march 2014, are they (Oracle) announcing the ocjp8 exam along with jdk 1.8 ? or they release only jdk 1.8 ? please clarify my question.
Because i have prepared for ocjp certification, shall take the exam or shall i wait for java8 certification ?

Best Regards
srikar

Hey srikar palepu Welcome to coderanch.

If you are ready to go for OCPJP 6 or 7 then you can take the exam because there is no official information about OCPJP 8.

Good Luck
