apache commons ftp - max path length?

Hi y'all - this is my first post here..

Regarding org.apache.commons.net.ftp.

I'm using FTPClient to upload via method storeFile, but it it seems there is a maximum remote path length of around 120 (give or take a few characters).
Note: the same file (same path) can be uploaded using a different tool, so it's not a server limit.

If I stay under the limit, all is well, otherwise I get this exception:

java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Rob
