The client, located in San Diego, California (CA), is seeking an exceptional Sr. Android Engineer with strong Object Orientated fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of mobile development. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for creating highly quality Android applications. These applications will tie in with their ever-expanding mobile applications (iPhone and Android) platform via a RESTful API. This platform already supports our applications by providing user account and profile APIs and subscription billing and is being extended to provide location based services, connections to social networks, and a number of medical and health related data providing / searching services.
Responsibilities: * Analyze business requirements to determine how the apps should be built * Design and develop complete Android applications * Implement components of Android applications * Partner with other software developers on the team to integrate iPhone and Android applications into our existing infrastructure * Write unit tests to verify application functionality * Estimate development efforts based on requirements and design * Analyze and fix bugs
