file upload and prevent refresh calling page

Hi all,

I have a JSF page (called MainPage) with a commandButton: clicking on it, I open a modal panel with a <Rich:fileUpload> component, related to a listener in corresponding bean.
When I start to upload a file, page MainPage starts to refresh, but I would like to prevent this because it's not necessary.
I tried to "play" with <Rich:fileUpload> property values, but nothing seems to work and I don't know what to do anymore.
Any suggestions about how can I do? Anyone had same problem?
Here is file upload component

and this is the listener

Thanks in advance

Check the documentation on the RichFaces fileUpload tag. There should be an AJAX option that will update only the interesting parts of the display.

Note, though that you cannot use EL to form an xhtml tag id attribute value. It has to be a constant literal value. It's one of very few attributes that have that limitation.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
