Guys,

Is there any other popular reporting tool other than Jasper Reports. I'm not finding enough materials for it and there is one book by David Heffelfinger, but I want to know if it is available in India. Anyone please help!

Jyothi,

You can get it in Landmark (Forum) Bangalore or you can even try it on http://www.sapnaonline.com/ .

You better first use an IDE to create the reports. I'm using iReport, which is free, but you can also buy JasperAssistant, which is a plugin for Eclipse.

Anyone did actually try using JasperReports or any other reporting tools with netBeans IDE or any other IDE?

As I told you, I use iReports which is a standalone IDE for making reports. You have to pay for the manual. In my last comment, I putted a lonk to its homepage.
