In the JSP Template domain, I'll agree. But both Velocity and Freemarker make darn good general purpose template engines. I still use velocity for Email templates.

how can we use Freemarker with Servlet & Jsp. i mean what is role of Velocity and Freemarker play with that and how its work and what are the area where we using this?
