OCEJWCD 6 - Please advice

Hello Java Experts,
I have been working on J2EE technology for several years not, but don't have a good foundation. I thought taking the OCEJWCD 6 (1z0-899) will give me an opportunity to learn the basics better. I just purchased this book - "OCEJWCD Study Companion: Certified Expert Java EE 6 Web Component Developer (Oracle Exam 1Z0-899) by Charles Lyons". After going through this and taking the mock exam, I plan on taking some mock tests in enthuware.
Can somebody tell me if that book and mock tests in enthuware are good for passing the real test? Are there any other suggestions that you would like to provide.

Thanks,
Siva

Welcome to CodeRanch!

As per SCWCD Links(<-click) the book should be helpful. But I would strongly advice to go through specification (because specification is standard by which question paper is created).

I tried Enthuware exam for EJB certification and had a good experience. I hope its equally good for Servlet certification.

I hope this helps.

All The Best!

Im agree with Anayonkar about the specification.

The OCEJWCD study compatipon covers all the certification objetives. Also, in the enthuware viewer you have some URL referencing to the standard reference.

I think you are in the good way.

Good luck.

At the moment OCJP, OCPJWCD.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
