Start-up business web service question... (automated transactions).

Okay,

I am currently helping out with a start-up business and was wondering if anyone knew of any web services for handling automated bank transactions? Specifically, we will need a service that will automatically pay a given amount each month using the customer's debit card/credit card (of course with the customer's consent). I know Amazon offers a wide range of web services, but does anyone know if a specific one that would help handle this type of functionality for us? Whether it's Amazon or some other service solution. Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated it.

Thanks.

It is doable by defining proper service choreography or orchestration on multiple entity services.

Are you trying to host this on any BPM engine ?

Hey Sujeeth,

Thank you for your response. Well I am new to this (new CS graduate), so I was hoping to get some advice and/or approach for handling this. Therefore, I will definitely consider/research more about what you said, in regards to a well defined service orchestration and BPM engine, so I can become more familiar with these concepts. Do you mean like a SOA deployment?

I think talking about SOA, BPM, orchestration etc. doesn't address the heart of the matter: You need to sign up with a payment provider that does business in the countries you're interested in, and supports the kinds of transactions you need to do; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_online_payment_service_providers for some options.
