I am on Axis 1.4 and the following error while importing my wsdl in SOAP UI

When I check my WSDL and search for simpleContent I get this...

Can you suggest if that is the reason I am not able to open WSDL in Soap-UI? Also, how to avoid this?

Your error message is quite clear. Your simpleContent extension does not define a base type. In fact, it's empty. Your WSDL is not finished.

But that is what Axis has generated.

I think I have in my wsdl

And the above code is what is getting generated to what I mentioned earlier. Any alternatives to above one?
