I have a java program that is able to send mails to the users. It worked fine till a week ago. I didn't change anything, but since a week I get the error message:

The strange thing is also that I tried my code local on my desktop and that I don't get the error message and the mail is send. But when I try my program on my linux server, the mails aren't send anymore.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

You need to import the SSL certificate of the mail server into your Java keystore. See the last entry in the http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/SecurityFaq.

But how can you explain then that for another program, on the same server and with the same mail server it does work? And for this program it doesn't work.

I don't presume to. What is "another program"?

Have you tried the remedy?
