Hi All,

I am not sure if i am posting this topic at the right place.

I tried searching the Big Moose Saloon for any section for Business Cases for Enterprise level projects in vein. Is there any section here? If so please let me know.

If not, can someone guide me with proper resources for the same.

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Abhishek

We'll gladly move this question to the proper forum for you, but unfortunately your question isn't very clear. Is it related to use cases and modeling, or is it about justifying projects according to business needs? Give us some more detail, and we'll point you in the right direction.

Ulf,
To tell you from the beginning. I am currently working in EAI/middleware domain. I also have liking towards Jave, J2EE and hence have got certified. Other than a little bit of core jave experience i havent worked on real enterprise level projects, which is why i want to start working on sample projects (enterprise level) as an experience. Regarding your question above, it doesnt matter if it involves the designing and the actual development or only development. My focus is currently on developing enterprise level projects (ofcourse in Java/J2EE), as i am willing to move on to the architechtural role in future.

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Abhishek

So you're looking for a Java project to work with so you get experience? I generally suggest browsing through SourceForge and www.java-source.net; both sites have tons of Java projects, some of which might interest you.
