<html:select property="value(seriesGrp)" style="WIDTH:115px;" onchange="getModel()">

<html:select property="seriesGrp" style="WIDTH:115px;" onchange="getModel()">

What is the difference between above two statements in which one property has value(seriesGrp) other only seriesGrp ?

And we get the value of element like
document.getElementById("value(seriesGrp)").value and document.getElementById("WIDTH:115px").value ie one by using property and other by style. What is difference in both cases.

Do they do anything different when you open the page?

Again, do they do anything different?

Joe asked you two questions soliciting more information. Can you answer them?
