I recently received a job as a student systems developer (so yes I am still learning a lot) I only have knowledge about concepts, coding logic, and college classes.
Well, at my work I installed Ubuntu and the computers name is windex
However, I added lamp to it.
I used sudo apt-get install php and sudo apt-get sql-server
so if I type local host, it works good. To add on, My school is FIU and the domain of my computer is windex.cs.fiu.edu and you see it works. I added a simple php script. I was wondering how is it I am able to access windex.cs.fiu.edu which is my work station and work (my university)? the main page of my schools department is cs.fiu.edu
