get the paths

Hi,I have a code that uploads files in server after browsing folders and files then get the paths of files but I have a problem in getting the paths

 List items = upload.parseRequest(request);
                Iterator iterator = items.iterator();        
 while (iterator.hasNext()) {                  
     FileItem item = (FileItem) iterator.next();
  if (!item.isFormField())
  {    fileName = item.getName();     
   root = getServletContext().getRealPath("/");
      path = new File(root + "/uploads");             
  if (!path.exists())
  {    boolean status = path.mkdirs();   }
  
  File uploadedFile = new File(path + "/" + fileName);      
  //System.out.println(uploadedFile.getAbsolutePath());          
  item.write(uploadedFile);
  p=uploadedFile.toString();
 ////////////  String p= path.getAbsolutePath()+ "/" + fileName;
//String ppth= uploadedFile.getPath();
  
  list1.add(p);
  if (fileName != null) {
     name = FilenameUtils.getName(fileName);
 } 
  list2.add(name);
  }
 }

list1 must has paths that I want but I do not get the paths of upload files

can you help me in getting the paths

Do you mean lis1 is empty?

You seem to assume that File.toString returns a path - I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but you should check its javadocs. From what I understand, you probably want to use the File.getAbsolutePath method.
