i would like to ask all the experienced java developers, does having scjp6,scwcd5 certified and working knowledge in struts2 is good enough to bag a good java developer job in india, and i also have 1.6 year working experience in java.
and how does completing EJB certification add up to the above mentioned topic.
please help me out as am badly in a need of changing company for some reasons
As for getting certified, it depends on a few things. Does the company value certified candidates? Because most of the time, it is the experience/ knowledge that counts. It is at the interview you wow them with your expertise, able to solve their immediate problems, bla bla bla.
Yet having certified usually make you stand out a bit from the crowd (depending on your competition eg other candidates with similar/better background, fresh grads?)
Getting what cert is up to you unless the company "requires" it, which I've never seen any (at least Java ones).
